NORTH POSEY PERFORMING ARTS
BAND
The North Posey Vikings have a history of excellence in Southern Indiana. Under the direction of Mr. Ben Walden, the high school concert band performs regularly at the Fall, Winter, and Spring concerts. The North Posey Marching Band performs at home varsity football and basketball games spanning from August to February.

Mr. Walden teaches 6th grade band at North Elementary and South Terrace Elementary and Jr. High band at North Posey Jr. High School. We offer many exciting opportunities for students throughout the year!

Instrumental Music
Ben Walden teaches the Sr. High, Jr. High, and 6th Grade Bands at MSD North Posey as well as Music Theory and Appreciation. He graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Music Education and began teaching at North Posey in 2020. Being from Evansville, Mr. Walden welcomes the opportunity to grow instrumental music in the Southwest Indiana area. His philosophy is to give all students an opportunity for a diverse and rigorous music education through study of an instrument and experience in music through multiple means.
